The BHF Congress Committee can do no more in preparation for the Congress from 18-21 September, as the full range of speakers covering 12 distinctive topic areas is now well in place. For example, you will hear on the subject of the world economy, entrepreneurism, business success, the role of new technologies as well as some specific company profiles and people issues. Do not forget, this is the 100th anniversaryof the IHA and a resume of its activities for the last 100 years will also be on offer with pointers for the future.
The social programme is equally strong, with two superb London venues chosen for the opening and closing social events, namely the Tower of London and the Banqueting House respectively, not forgetting the evening Thames River Cruise, during which delegates will be able to see the House of Commons and all the main London sights by night. Although, remember, London is a city that never sleeps!
The Princess Royal has confirmed her attendance on the opening Friday morning, which will give the Congress that extra special feel. With the opportunity to meet fellow delegates from at least 10 countries around the world and hear resumes of how they are coping with the recession, there can be no better reason to book your place at the Congress now. There are still places available, although the main Congress hotel, the Marriott County Hall, is starting to fill up so if you really want your first choice do not delay any longer.
